As a Software Developer (m/f/d), you will become part of our Research & Development team and contribute to the architecture, enhancement, and scaling of our in‑house analysis and control software—from initial system concepts all the way to a market-ready product.
Your profile
Degree in Computer Science, completed training as an IT specialist for application development, or a comparable qualification
Solid knowledge of C# / .NET
Experience with common development tools (e.g., Github, Jira, Rider)
Experience with database systems (e.g., MariaDB)
Knowledge in at least one of the following areas is a plus:
- WPF / desktop UI
- ASP.NET / backend
- Dependency Injection (e.g., Autofac)
- Web technologies (e.g., Vue)
Analytical thinking and a structured, independent working style
Excellent German skills and good English skills

You will develop robust, high-performance, and maintainable software solutions for complex analytical platforms in the life‑science environment. You combine clean architecture with high technical quality and work closely with interdisciplinary teams across hardware, physics, biochemistry, and data science.
Your Responsibilities
Further development of our control software betaSYS (device & process control)
Co-development of our analysis and evaluation software betaINSIGHT
Expansion of our iRS analysis platform in close collaboration with the development team
Design and implementation of new software modules in C# / .NET
Ensuring code quality, testability, and maintainability
Creation of technical documentation (incl. for regulated environments)
Collaboration with international partners on requirements definition and analysis projects
